    Need something to do this Valentine's Day? Here is a list of some classic chick flicks. This list has everything you can want in a chick flick: tears and a good laugh. You can also find a Valentine's Day treat recipe because a chick flick isn’t the same without some yummy sweets.

The Notebook-

An elderly man tells his wife their love story in hopes that he can revive her memory after suffering from Alzheimer’s.

Why watch it?

It’s super romantic and perfect for Valentine's Day. A good movie if you want to cry and walk away feeling good.

Legally Blonde-

A woman goes to law school to win back her ex-boyfriend, but in the process, she realizes that she is worth a lot more without him.

Why watch it?

You don’t need to feel bad about being single on Valentine's Day. You are an independent woman. Legally Blonde is the perfect movie to watch as a strong, single person on Valentine's Day.

The Proposal-

A boss makes her assistant marry her to keep her from leaving the country. She comes to realize that she may be falling for her attractive assistant and things become complicated.

Why watch it?

It’s super funny and perfect for Valentine's Day. It has the perfect balance of humor and romance.

Valentine M&M’s Cookie Bars-


  • 2 sticks butter, room temperature

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup firmly packed golden brown sugar

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 ½ tsp pure vanilla extract

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • ¾ tsp baking soda

  • ¾ tsp salt

  • 1 ½ cups Valentine’s M&M’s plus more for topping,

  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips plus more for topping.

Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9*13 baking dish with foil. Spray foil with nonstick cooking spray. Beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together in a stand mixer until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla extract and continue to beat. Lower the speed of the mixer and add flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in M&M’s and white chocolate chips, reserve some to top the bars. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking dish. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
