Valentine’s Day is a major holiday to celebrate love and happiness with one another. For those with a significant other, it’s a fun day to get romantic and appreciate your relationship. In order to make this day special for you and your S.O, or your crush, here are a few tips to help you out:
Plan a romantic date:
Nothing will make your boo happier than a romantic date! Because there is only one day in the entire year like this one, might as well splurge on a nice dinner. Not only will this make your S.O very happy, but it shows that you are truly caring and considerate. The Cheesecake Factory offers a great selection of appetizers, entrées, and of course, desserts.
Buy her flowers:
Flowers are the classic gift for Valentines Day, so why not keep it traditional? A nice bouquet of roses or tulips is sure to make any girl blush. Add a cute card and some chocolates and voila, you have the perfect gift for your lady.
Get some quality chocolates:
Chocolate is the go-to gift when it comes to this love-filled holiday, but maybe a cheap bag of m&m’s won’t suffice. Many stores in Utah have themed areas strictly for Valentines Day so that choosing chocolates for your girlfriend or boyfriend wouldn’t be that hard. Some great high-end chocolates brands are Godiva, Ferrero Rocher, Dove, Lindt, and Ghirardelli. Many of their chocolates are strawberry themed, hence the pink and red colors associated with the holiday.
Plan a day full of fun!
If both of you are skiers or snowboarders, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to go hit the slopes for the day. Afterwards, you can cuddle up, drink some hot chocolate, and watch a cute, romantic movie, or maybe a rom-com! Movies are always a great way to spend time with your loved ones, as are going ice-skating, playing board games, winter sporting events, rock climbing, and snowshoeing.
